FansRaise is the first-of-its kind crowdfunding platform specifically built for the performing arts. We are a team of passionate makers and doers that are obsessed with creating positive change in the performing and pageantry arts space. We are directors, designers, booster parents, and supporters of the performing arts. We’ve lived with the day-to-day challenges that your organization is facing.
Through the use of deep social integration, the FansRaise platform allows band, theater, choir, orchestra, and indoor pageantry directors the opportunity to leverage the social networks of members and performers to create undying support. It’s a lot more than just “sharing” on social networks – we create a “gamified” atmosphere within your organization to not only raise funds, but to drive fan support for the long term.
Founder and CEO
Brian Gilbert has almost 20 years of experience as a music educator, designer, adjudicator, and most recently as a band parent. As a band director and staff member, Brian has taken groups to major bowl games, performance festivals, and national-level competitions. After leaving the teaching world, Brian entered the business world by holding top sales positions with several large companies in the areas of finance, cloud software, and human resource consulting.
Bob Gupta has developed and managed technology startups for over 20 years. In addition, Bob has been involved in the performing arts as a performer, designer, and administrator. He is excited to merge his two passions towards building a technology platform that helps fund and strengthen music and arts organizations.
Roman Zhitnitskiy has significant experience in building business applications and software architecture for a multinational banking and financial services corporation. Roman’s expert knowledge of algorithms, security, and internet technologies enables him to develop industry-leading web solutions that are powerful and intuitive to use.
