When we set out to create FansRaise, our concept was pretty simple. We wanted to find a way that we could create tools around a crowdfunding platform that could be used to not only raise funds, but to also raise awareness, fan support, and the collective profile of all performing and pageantry arts organizations.
There are many crowdfunding platforms out there, and you’ve undoubtedly heard of many of them. They all do a pretty nice job of helping someone raise money, but for someone running a program like a marching band, drum and bugle corps, theater company, orchestra, etc – there’s not a lot of capability to help build program scope. Not to mention that there’s zero capability built in that helps any of these groups manage tasks or planning day-to-day.
